How fast did the Autumn season hit you? With summertime seeming like an eternity, it’s no surprise that most of us have yet to prepare our fall wardrobes. Worry not: KOODING’s roundup of Fall 2019 fashion trends will have you – and your closet – ready and fashion-forward in no time.
Like it or not, leopard print’s comeback is STRONG. Nearly every Korean fashion brand and designer is utilizing the iconic print in a variety of colors, silhouettes, and styles. While not a brand new concept, leopard print has been experiencing a serious rebirth in the fashion world.
Leopard print is a foolproof way to implement a touch of boldness without leaving your comfort zone.
The best part? Leopard can easily transition as a neutral, making it easy to style with any color of your choosing. We prefer the classic black pairing, as shown by JSTYLE, OPEN THE DOOR, and MOCOBLING.
Plaid is a classic print that can be worn year-round but holds a special place in our hearts during fall. It reminds us of the coziness of flannels and the edgy vibe of punk and goth-inspired outfits, two of the season’s biggest fashion mainstays.
Mind Bridge has a huge selection of plaid blazers that transition perfectly from day to night.
While miniskirts will never truly go out of style, Fall 2019 fashion trends have been fully embracing longer skirt lengths. Whether it’s your favorite content creator, celebrity, or fashion icon, everyone has been seen rocking the midi skirt from bold prints and fabrics (as seen on NANING9) to the subtlest of neutral hues featured in Mind Bridge’s latest collections.
Midi-length skirts are also an amazing transitional piece because they can be worn as the weather cools down from the warm summer months. They also look great with sneakers, boots, and any other footwear you want to pair with them for a totally versatile look.
Which of these trends are you most excited about? Sound off in the comments and tag us in your #KOODING fall looks for a chance to be featured on IG!

Q: What inspires your fashion?
SA: Anything – trends, family, friends, music, and different cultures. I get inspired on the daily and wear whatever I’m into!
Q: What influences your fashion style most?
SA: My mood influences my fashion style the most. My style is very diverse and I definitely do not stick to one specific style or type of clothing. Depending on how I’m feeling, I’ll go for edgy, cute, or a classy look.
Q: What is your favorite item in your closet and why?
SA: My current favorite item in my closet is my brown leather backpack. Backpacks are an accessory that I do not normally gravitate towards but I’ve been digging the way it looks with my outfits lately.
Q: What is the best fashion investment you’ve ever made?
SA: I recently purchased a white clothing rack and it has honestly been so helpful when planning my outfits ahead of time. Would 100% recommend anyone to get a good quality rack for themselves!
Q: What inspired you to become an influencer
SA: One of my best friends is a blogger and suggested I start an Instagram account. I decided to give it a shot and I really enjoyed it. I love sharing my outfits and lifestyle with my followers and it’s truly motivating that I can be an inspiration and create an impact for others as well!

Chanel- La Mousse Anti-Pollution Cleansing Cream-to-foam
Swiss Line – Watershock Purifying Toner
SKII – Facial Treatment Essence
Tony Moly – Master Lab Real Mask Sheets (Intensive Hydrating or Vitamin C Brightening)
It’s very extensive, but I quickly came to realize how important a proper skin care routine is. I think of skincare as an investment and for someone who was definitely not blessed with perfect skin, this routine has helped me achieve healthy and glowing skin.
Q: What is your makeup routine
SA: 1. Shiseido – Urban Environment Oil-Free UV Protector Broad Spectrum SPF 42 For Face

SA: I’m obsessed with Korean variety shows, K-pop, and K-dramas 🙂 Ask me anything about Korean news and I’ll tell you all the juicy deets. 😋
Q: What’s your favorite thing about living in Toronto?
SA: I love the hustle of the city and the diverse people. You can really see that the people in Toronto are determined and working hard to reach their goals. The city inspires me to keep pushing and live a fast-paced life.
Q: Where are your go to hang out spots, eats, and cafes in Toronto?
SA: Currently, I am loving Lavelle and Constantine to brunch. My go to restaurants are Little Piggy for some quality K-BBQ and KAKA for good sushi. But, my absolute favorite place to hang and eat is Kensington Market. Here you’ll find the most delicious eats for cheap and is probably one of the most unique and fun spots in Toronto. Some of my favorite restaurants in Kensington Market are Rasta Pasta for the best Jamaican food and Seven Lives for the tastiest fish tacos!
Q: Where are your favorite travel destinations and why (both in the states and other countries)?
SA: For the States, I recently traveled to LA for the first time and fell in love with the city. It’s a mix of the hustle from Toronto and chill, laid-back vibes. I still can’t decide if I like Toronto or LA better though! For Europe, my favorite destinations are Rome and Venice, Italy. I was in awe of the beautiful architecture every second I was there and would 100% recommend everyone to visit. Also, the food was 10/10. For Asia, obviously Korea! I go to Korea every other year to visit family and friends and it’s probably my ultimate favorite travel destination. The food, culture, and people are all amazing and I never get tired of it. I’m missing it now just thinking about it. 🙂
Q: What are your travel essentials?
SA: Currently – Face masks, leather jacket, and resistant bands. Face masks are a must for me as my skin tends to suffer from the change in climates and location. My leather jacket pairs up with any outfit I wear so I always make sure to pack it. Lastly, I always pack my resistant bands so I can work out daily on the go and anywhere.
Q: What goals would you like to achieve before 2019?
SA: My main goal is to move my digital content creation to the next level. I want to continue to create unique and inspiring content for myself and my followers but kick it up a notch.
Q: What is your favorite thing about KOODING?
SA: I love that KOODING houses so many of my favorite Korean clothing brands. This allows me to shop for any style and any trendy clothing piece I want. The site is also updated with new items regularly so I always have a huge selection to shop from.

Every New Year it is Korean Tradition to bow to your elders before getting a blessing for the year to come. This tradition is often accompanied by traditional Korean clothing known as a Hanbok (한복). Hanboks are often created with vibrant colors and simple lining and they were often worn during traditional festivals and celebrations during the Joseon period of Korean History.
In order to ring in the New Year and remember our Korean heritage, our team selected these two items to start off 2018. This modern day Hanbok brings a new twist to the original that we all love and admire! It can be worn for any special occasion or worn separately for a modern feel.
Speaking of accessories, earrings are a huge plus for any outfit! It can make a look preppy, chic, or minimal depending on the piece you choose to wear! This Peal Earring is subtle enough to not draw too much attention away from your clothes while still being loud enough for people to notice!

The first look is with Cherryville’s Gorgeous Jumpsuit which is a beautiful floral piece that can be paired with almost anything. This floral piece is versatile as it can be worn in the summer or paired with a simple trench coat for the colder months. The versatility of this dress is unique and hard to find and goes well in any season.
This first look is simple with just the right touch of sophistication. Rigel pairs a simple white collared tee with a dressy pajama shirt to make his look a little more put together and refined. The white outline on the pajama shirt adds some more dimension to his outfit, making it more interesting for onlookers to pay attention to the subtle detailed lining of his top.
The second look is perfect for those lazy days on campus. You woke up late but you need to rush to class, don’t worry! You can still look put together with this simple sky blue top paired with our Mesh Coloration Training Pants. No one will notice that you slept through all twelve alarms! The yellow lining that goes down the pants paired with the sky blue tee is a perfect pairing of colors without being too flashy.

Believe it or not, an organized closet can be a life-changer (when your mornings run smoothly and your outfit options feel endless you’ll see what we mean). Now open your closet. Does it scream chaos? Here’s a quick list to help you organize your closet and keep your Korean fashion items in place.
Invest in various storage units to maximize your space. Besides the usual hangers, start using boxes, clear plastic drawers, stackable baskets and hanging canvas shelves to store accessories, shoes, folded items, and more.
Place the clothes you wear frequently at eye level, so they are easy to spot and grab. The ones you use less can be stored below, while those you rarely sport can go high up in your closet.
Bulky pieces, things you only use once in a blue moon, or out-of-season clothing items can be organized in boxes or suitcases and placed under beds or in a storage room.
Each time you declutter, try to donate, recycle or consign. A great way to decide what must go is to turn around every hanger in your closet with the hook pointing towards you. Every time you wear an item, just hang it back the normal way. At the end of each season, you will realize that the hangers facing the wrong way are holding items you don’t need any longer.
Exploit every single inch of your wardrobe and start using hanger racks, over-the-door hooks and shoe bags (a vertical boot organizer is a must!).
A towel bar attached to a wasted wall space is ideal to hang your scarf collection.
Shoe organizers can also be used for storing bulky items, such as sweaters and cardigans. Just roll them carefully before you stow them away.
Group your clothing by category (dresses, pants, jackets, shirts) or, if you have extra time and patience, arrange them by color, from light to dark.
Piece number one is for those lazy folks who want to stay warm and stylish without the discomfort. The minimalistic drawing in the center of the sweater will add an element of interest for any onlooker. I love this piece because I’ve never seen a design quite like this one and the color combination can be paired with any outfit.
You can never go wrong with a sophisticated trench coat. I think everyone needs one lying around for a day in town or a night out. You can always pair a trench coat on top of any look to turn your style into something a little more refined. Definitely a must have!
Piece number three is this red turtle neck sweater and it’s as soft as sweaters get. The cranberry color is perfect for any festivities coming up in the month of December and you don’t have to worry about being cold! I personally love the oversized look and this sweater does just that without completely overwhelming the wearers body.
My favorite piece from the five are these plaid pants. I’ve noticed that plaid is really in these days seeing that the pattern has shown up in almost every fashion store. Adding pattern into your outfit makes you look like you tried 100 times harder than you actually did and these pants do just that. They’re extremely comfortable and they look perfect with even just a plain white tee. If you haven’t picked up a pair of plaid pants this season, you’re already behind!
Our last piece was chosen in mind for all the upcoming holiday parties coming up! Wear this skirt for your Christmas dinner or even a New Years gathering and we guarantee that you’ll be the talk of the party. The material is flashy enough to draw attention to your outfit without coming off as a try hard. Pair this skirt with a nice top and some heels and you’re on your way!
Let us know what your favorite piece was out of the five and you can shop all these styles on KOODING.com! Happy Holidays!

Natalia and Olga are two New York based fashion bloggers who have amazing style! Even though the weather has drastically dropped in the East Coast, they show us how they still manage to stay warm and stylish at the same time.
You can definitely see their unique sense of style through the pieces that each of them chose. Natalia went for a rocker chic look by styling our Tie Neck Strap Sweater with a leather jacket paired with AIN’s Black Zipper Leather Skirt. She accessorized with a cute baker boy hat and some long boots to keep herself warm, perfect for a day out in town.
“The sweater is really warm and soft-just perfect for NYC weather.” -Natalia
Olga went for two different looks using the pieces she chose. Her first look (left) is stylish and edgy. She paired our Dum Dum Belt Skirt with a leather jacket and long boots to match. She adds a hint of baby blue with a warm sweater underneath and cute earrings to top it off. Her second look is feminine and sophisticated with our pink Confession Dress matched with a pink long overcoat. We love how she kept the consistency of her pink color theme while not allowing it to be too overbearing. A hat and long boots to match completes her look and she is ready for the day!
“You can wear it both to work and going out with friends“-Olga
